announcement Bershka to open flagship store at the Trafford Centre

It will be the first Bershka store to open in Greater Manchester.

Inditex, the Spanish clothing giant, has agreed a new lease deal with the Trafford Centre. Bershka will open a flagship store inside the Trafford Centre, and two other Inditex brands, Zara and Pull&Bear, will relocate their stores (remaining in the complex) to become larger.

Bershka and the two relocated stores are all due to open at the end of summer this year, and will all be flagship stores. The new Zara store will have 37% more floor space, meanwhile the new Pull&Bear store will be a whopping 136% bigger - more than double the size.

The new Bershka store will be 18,000 square foot in floor space, just over three times bigger than the current Pull&Bear store. It will be the first store from the retailer to open within Greater Manchester. Currently the nearest ones are in Liverpool and in Sheffield.

The Trafford Centre said the deal with Inditex "demonstrates that Trafford Centre is going from strength to strength", and that the move will "provide an unrivalled fashion offer" for their growing number of visitors.
